Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee

This Committee exists to develop, refine, update, implement and administer a Coordinated Entry System through which persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness are assessed as to their needs, prioritized and referred to the appropriate housing and services provider(s).

TPCH is currently rolling out coordinated entry by participating in the 25 Cities Initiative (with the City of Tucson Mayor’s Office) to house military veterans experiencing chronic homelessness and the Zero 2016 Campaign house persons end chronic homelessness. See monthly housing placement reports here (scroll down).

Ending homelessness means that all persons currently without housing are housed, and services are put into place and/or into greater public awareness so that most new homelessness is prevented, and persons and families who nonetheless become homeless are housed in a short period of time. (The goal for re-housing is 30 days or less.)
